Out and About — Discover the Vibe. Know Before You Go.
Out & About is a next-generation nightlife discovery and community safety platform designed to change how people decide where to go, connect with friends, and navigate their social lives.
Built with Gen Z and LGBTQ+ communities, Out & About brings real-time nightlife information, social discovery, and safety tools together in one easy-to-use app.
Instead of jumping between Google, Yelp, TikTok, and Instagram to figure out what's happening, users can discover nearby bars, clubs, restaurants, and events, check what's open, explore the current vibe, and access community-generated insights to make informed decisions about where to spend their night.
But Out & About goes beyond discovering a great place to go.
Safety is built into the experience. The platform is designed to empower users to look out for themselves and one another through anonymous incident reporting, community safety alerts, emergency contacts, and shared information about potential concerns at venues. By bringing individual experiences together, Out & About aims to make previously invisible safety patterns more visible and help communities make better-informed choices.
For local businesses, Out & About creates opportunities to connect with engaged, experience-driven audiences through venue visibility, targeted promotions, and community engagement.
Our vision is to become the go-to platform for discovering what's happening right now—while making nightlife more transparent, connected, and safer for everyone.
With a completed MVP, encouraging Gen Z beta testing, and an initial launch planned for West Hollywood and Los Angeles, Out & About is positioned to move from early validation to real-world adoption, with the potential to scale into cities nationwide.
